Parish Youth Club

We have a small, but lively youth group which meets fortnightly on a Sunday evening during term time. We are based at St Catwg’s church and we offer a vast range of events including eco-activities, pizza making, origami, various games nights, cooking, scarecrows making, outdoor activities including local walks, ten pin bowling, ice skating. We occasionally join with neighbouring parishes for adventure weekends away at activity centres. Our leadership team include people with experience in teaching and Scouting, and we are often joined by some older members when they are home from university. Young people from year 6 upwards are welcome to join. We take safeguarding of vulnerable groups extremely seriously. Please see our Safeguarding and Health & Safety page for more information

The Parish of Pentyrch and Capel Llanilltern is a simple, joyful and inclusive Christian community. The worship, prayer and events we offer reflect our love of Jesus and all God’s people, near and far. Whatever your background, whatever you may be feeling, however often or infrequently, we would love you to join us.

CHURCH SERVICES

In our Parish we work hard to think creatively about our worship, so that it can hold the traditional and modern in a wonderful balance, thereby igniting a sense of God’s grace, joy and hope amongst us all.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe you have received it, and it will be yours.”
